For foundations seeking to elevate the work of multiple grantees, MissionWise staff is happy to collaborate and define group packages targeted to specific goals.

MissionReady™ Survey
Even though the value to staff, board and funders is clear, most of us rarely take time to step back and assess the strengths and gaps in organizations. MissionWise makes it easier with MIssionReady™, a survey tool customized for organizations working in the social sector to improve health.

Strategic & Business Planning
MissionWise specializes in recognizing the complexity of operating nonprofits and social enterprises with a health-related mission. A strategic plan, involving the board, sets the course and defines current priorities and goals. A business plan defines the ways that organizational resources will be used to meet the goals and generate specific outcomes. Planning processes are never cookie-cutter, but rather focused on the needs, opportunities and strengths of each organization. The end result is actionable plans and a motivated and prepared staff.

Earned Income
Does your organization have the potential to launch, operate and grow earned income ventures in support of your mission? It’s not an easy question to answer. When thoughtfully considered and implemented earned income ventures, often called social enterprises, can engage new supporters, diversify the revenue base, and leverage intellectual property and other organizational assets in creative ways.

Governance
The roles and responsibilities of staff and board naturally evolve and change as organizations grow. Outside perspective and guidance can be extremely valuable and effective in clarifying roles and defining how staff and board work together. The result is a healthier culture and improved performance.

Marketing & Communications
Organizations working to improve health have critical messages for a variety of audiences. From promoting social change, marketing products and services, reaching funders and more, the challenge is often defining the focus and making the most of a limited budget. MissionWise helps organizations of every size create smart, focused, effective marketing strategies and communication tools.
